Basilique-Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde, Montréal. Built in the late 19th century, this cathedral is a scale replica of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Under its dome is a copy of Bernini's baldachin. There are many paintings illustrating scenes from Montréal's history and the mortuary chapel is the final resting place of the city's bishops.
