The Infinitely Nature video contest begins on May 17, 2010 at 16 h 00 Eastern Daylight Saving Time and ends on September 30, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Saving Time. The contest is organized by the ministère du Tourisme.
Eligibility
The contest is open to any natural person 18 years of age or older at the time of participation. However, despite the foregoing, the members of the jury, the employees, representatives, mandataries, agents, distributors, advertising and publicity agencies of the ministère du Tourisme, as well as the members of their immediate families and/or the persons with whom they are domiciled may not participate in the contest.
How to participate
There are two ways for you to participate in the Infinitely Nature contest.
The first is by submitting a video. To participate that way, you must create an account on the Destination Québec Website (www.destinationquebec.com) or use your existing account, in order to submit, between May 17, 2010 and August 31, 2010, a video promoting nature in Québec. Note that you may submit more than one video. To be eligible, the videos must comply with the conditions of use of the Destination Québec Website and be 30 seconds to 2 minutes long. They must abide by the contest theme, i.e. they must promote Québec’s natural landscapes. Be sure to check the “Enter this video in the Infinitely Nature contest” box in the video sharing or publishing interface if you want it to be considered in the selection of the finalist videos.
A jury, composed of three members of the staff of the ministère du Tourisme, will select, between August 31, 2010 and September 5, 2010, 25 videos from among those submitted. Note that the jury will make its selection on the basis of the following criteria: compliance with the contest theme and rules, visual and sound quality, originality of the title and description associated with the video, quality of the language, and the general creativity of the video. The 25 finalist videos will then be voted on by Internet users in order to determine the three winners. The selection of the finalists is final and without appeal.
The second way to participate is by popular vote. To participate that way, you must vote between September 6, 2010 and September 30, 2010 for your favorite video from among those selected by the jury. For your vote to be valid, you must provide your family name, given name, e-mail address and telephone number. That information is requested solely for the administration of the contest and will subsequently be destroyed. Note that only one vote per day per valid e-mail will be accepted. Your participation that way will make you eligible for the random draw for a participation prize.

The first three prizes will be awarded to the candidates whose videos among those selected by the jury receive the largest number of votes from September 6, 2010 to September 30, 2010.
